Job summary

RS&H is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) to lead and grow an experienced electrical engineering group. You will serve as Engineer of Record, oversee complex projects, and drive delivery across aviation, federal, healthcare, and commercial sectors.

You will mentor junior staff, build client relationships, and contribute to strategic growth while guiding projects from concept through construction. Strong NEC/NFPA knowledge and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (accredited program).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering (building systems preferred).
• Proven experience leading projects, teams, or both.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and applicable codes.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior staff.
• Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an electrical engineering group, supporting team growth and performance.
• Serve as Engineer of Record and provide technical oversight across complex projects.
• Drive project delivery as a Project Engineer and/or Project Manager across aviation, federal, healthcare, and commercial sectors.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers, helping shape the next generation of talent.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.
• Contribute to strategic growth initiatives, including hiring and team expansion.
• Support projects from concept through construction, including coordination and quality control.
