Job summary

CESO, Inc. is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive complex building systems projects from concept to completion. You will mentor junior staff, oversee design quality, and coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure successful outcomes.

The role requires PE licensure, ABET-accredited degree, and 10+ years of relevant experience. Expect a hybrid work schedule with a strong emphasis on collaboration, standards development, and client service.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering; PE license required; 10+ years of relevant experience (Master's degree can substitute up to 1 year).
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design, AEC industry codes and standards.
• Experience creating and maintaining engineering standards and tools.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach junior staff and engineers; provide technical oversight and guidance.
• Lead projects from concept through completion.
• Coordinate design with architects, contractors, engineers, and vendors to determine scope and feasibility.
• Perform calculations and guide teams to prepare design documents; ensure quality meets schedule and budget.
• Oversee quality review, review in-progress work, and ensure accuracy and neatness of drawings.
• Attend owner/client/architect meetings and visit sites to verify conditions and observe progress.
