Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Federal Programs Team.

The role involves leadership within an MEP discipline, providing design and technical guidance on facilities and infrastructure, and coordinating with clients, government entities, and sub-consultants across multiple states including Virginia and Texas. Expect travel to project sites and a focus on safety, compliance, and innovative design.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited college or university or equivalent.
• 10+ years of post-education electrical design experience on capital projects.
• Professional Engineer registration is required.
• 3+ years of experience in Alternative Delivery projects.
• US citizenship is required due to client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams in electrical engineering for facilities and infrastructure.
• Develop construction plans, specs, cost estimates, and basis of design.
• Deliver design projects across design-bid-build, design-build, or alternative delivery.
• Coordinate with government, other disciplines, sub-consultants, and clients.
• Mentor staff and oversee electrical engineers and designers.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA codes and related standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project direction and requirements.
• Travel to project sites and government offices as required.
• Exercise ethical decision-making and QA/QC adherence.
