WSP Global Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive electrical design for utility, industrial, and commercial projects.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams from concept through construction, coordinating with architects, contractors and clients to deliver compliant, high-quality systems. The role requires a PE license and 7+ years of relevant experience in electrical design for complex facilities.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering.
• Professional engineering license required.
• 7+ years of relevant post-education experience in electrical systems design for industrial/pharmaceutical, labs, commercial, healthcare or similar facilities.
• Proficient with electrical engineering design, permitting, and project work.
• Experience with design/build projects and knowledge of regulatory standards.

Responsabilidades

• Develop drawings and specification documents for issuance to architects, contractors, and owners.
• Manage cross-functional engineering teams including budgets, hours, and expenses.
• Coordinate design activities with other team members and stakeholders.
• Design primary electrical power and emergency power systems.
• Develop lighting and life safety system designs and controls.
• Conduct electrical load, short circuit, and voltage drop calculations.
• Support construction administration and client meetings.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure safety and compliance.
