Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design on Federal Programs from Arlington, VA and other U.S. sites. You will guide a multidisciplinary MEP team, develop construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates, and oversee design-build and design‑bid‑build projects.

Travel to project sites and collaboration with owners, regulators, and vendors are expected. Requirements include a BS in Electrical Engineering, PE license, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency in

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited college or university.
10+ years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer.
Professional Engineering registration.
3+ years of experience in Alternative Delivery projects.
U.S. citizenship required by client.

Responsibilities

Lead a joint leadership capacity within an MEP team providing design and technical advice.
Develop construction plans, specs, and basis of design with coordination among owners and sub-consultants.
Deliver design projects in Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, or other delivery frameworks.
Oversee design and construction of facilities and infrastructure from inception to completion.
Mentor staff in electrical engineering practices and QA/QC.
