Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Hillsboro, OR to lead electrical design for advanced technology facilities, including cleanrooms and critical infrastructure. You will develop power distribution strategies, perform load analyses, and guide MV/LV system design from concept through construction administration.

Ideal candidates will have PE licensure, an ABET‑accredited degree, and hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Revit, along with leadership and client coordination skills for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Active PE license required; responsible charge and stamping authority
• Experience with semiconductors/advanced facilities and cleanrooms preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design from concept through construction administration for large-scale semiconductor projects.
• Develop load calculations, demand analyses, and distribution strategies for high-reliability manufacturing environments.
• Design low and medium voltage power distribution systems including MV switchgear and substations.
• Coordinate with architects, designers, and engineers to ensure integrated facility design.
• Review vendor submittals, RFIs, field observations, and turnover activities during construction.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead project teams to meet schedule and budget objectives.
