Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design on building projects in the Dallas area, with a focus on power, lighting, life-safety and building management systems. A PE license and 10+ years in electrical design are required.

You will coordinate a multidiscipline team, mentor staff, and drive project delivery from conception through construction, including adherence to schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an electrical emphasis is required.
• Professional engineer license (PE or P.Eng) recognized by the licensing board is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the work of Electrical Engineers with a multidiscipline team throughout the project development.
• Establish client relations and participate in design and production meetings for electrical systems.
• Lead the electrical design on multiple projects and ensure code compliance with reviews by agencies.
• Mentor staff and coordinate project documents to meet schedules and budget constraints.
• Direct activities of other electrical engineers and support staff as needed.
