HDR is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services Group in Texas. You will coordinate electrical design for large institutional/industrial projects, develop schematics, and ensure code compliance while collaborating with multiple disciplines.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license or is pursuing one, has at least 3 years in electrical design of buildings, and is proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Professional engineering license (PE) recognized by the licensing board for the position location (e.g., PE).
• Strong computer skills with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, AGI and Easy Power.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate electrical design for large institutional/industrial projects through schematic design and contract document phases.
• Establish meetings and reviews with governing agencies for code compliance.
• Coordinate workload to complete documentation on schedule.
• Conduct site work sessions with Project Manager and disciplines.
• Review electrical documents for clashes with other disciplines.
• Write/edit electrical specifications and select equipment and systems.
• Incorporate changes from addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders into documents.
