Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead and coordinate electrical design for complex building projects. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver schematic, design development and contract documents on time and within budget.

The role requires a PE license, strong knowledge of power, lighting and life-safety systems, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP. Join a culture driven by employee ownership and inclusive collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or recognized by the state licensing board.
• Extensive knowledge of building electrical power, lighting and signal design, including life safety systems and building management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the work of Electrical Engineers with a multidisciplinary team throughout project development.
• Establish client relations and participate in marketing, design and production meetings relating to electrical systems.
• Lead electrical design on multiple projects and ensure code compliance during reviews.
