Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for building projects in Southern California. You will manage project delivery, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, develop designs, and ensure compliance with California codes and standards.

You will mentor junior staff, work with clients to resolve technical challenges, and contribute to business development while advancing Stantec’s Buildings Engineering presence in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• PE license required.
• 6+ years of electrical design experience.
• Experience with healthcare, civic, or commercial facilities is a plus.
• Proven ability to mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for building projects including power and lighting.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Develop and review design drawings and calculations.
• Ensure compliance with California Electrical Code and CALGreen.
• Mentor junior staff and support project delivery.
