Job summary

Egis Group in Riyadh seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, implement, and optimize electrical systems for industrial operations. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, ensure safety, and drive continuous improvement across projects.

You will manage power distribution, control systems, and documentation while ensuring compliance with Saudi and international codes. Strong leadership, communication, and project-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of professional experience as an electrical engineer.
Expertise in electrical systems design, power distribution networks, and industrial control systems.
Proficient in AutoCAD, ETAP, or equivalent simulation and modeling tools.
Hands-on experience with SCADA systems, PLC programming, and industrial automation technologies.
Demonstrated project management experience, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and successful execution of electrical projects.
Leadership experience managing and mentoring technical teams.
In-depth knowledge of electrical safety standards, IEC codes, and Saudi regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous approach.
Strong organizational abilities and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in reading and creating complex electrical drawings and specs.
PE license or equivalent certification; OSHA/IEC desirable.
Familiarity with Middle East operations and regional standards.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and infrastructure, including power distribution networks and control systems.
Analyze electrical system performance and perform root-cause analysis to minimize downtime.
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning per Saudi Arabian and international codes.
Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs with maintenance teams.
Lead and mentor electricians and junior engineers with technical guidance.
Maintain detailed electrical documentation and specifications.
Conduct electrical safety audits and enforce robust protocols.
Plan and deliver capital improvement projects on schedule and within budget.
Monitor and optimize energy consumption for efficiency and cost savings.
Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders across departments.
