Job summary

Amrize seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design, procurement, site installation, testing, and startup for a new state‑of‑the‑art facility in Nashville. You will manage electrical scopes across all phases of construction, ensuring code compliance and safety.

Travel to supplier sites and the project site in Alabama is required; relocations supported if needed. 10+ years’ experience and a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Controls Engineering are expected, with Procore,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering, ABET-accredited preferred.
• 10+ years in electrical/controls engineering or large-scale capital projects.
• Experience managing electrical contractors from rough‑in to energization and startup.
• Proficiency with Procore or similar PM software; strong AutoCAD/Electrical skills.
• Familiarity with NEC/ NFPA 70, OSHA, LOTO and plant safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve electrical drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
• Direct on-site electrical contractor personnel to ensure compliance with designs and schedules.
• Develop testing, FAT/SAT, and commissioning procedures for major equipment.
• Coordinate with EPC partners, vendors, and inspectors across multiple sites.
• Design plant electrical infrastructure and process control schemes ( PLC/SCADA ).
• Ensure adherence to local, national, and international electrical codes.
