Job summary

Amrize Building Envelope is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical scope across all phases of a major construction project. You will design review, procurement support, site installation, testing, and startup, with travel to supplier sites and the Alabama project site as needed.

You will oversee MV/LV distribution, control systems, and industrial automation platforms, ensuring NEC/NFPA compliance and safety. A PE license and PMP are a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electrical/controls engineering for construction or manufacturing.
• Field experience supervising electrical contractors through energization and startup.
• Strong knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E and related codes.
• Proficient with Procore, AutoCAD and electrical design tools.
• Experience with industrial automation platforms and project management.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, schematics, and specs for MV/LV systems.
• Direct on-site electrical contractors to meet design, safety and schedule goals.
• Develop field inspection and commissioning protocols for main equipment.
• Liaise with capital project managers, EPC partners, vendors, and inspectors.
• Design plant electrical infrastructure and process control schemes.
• Lead FAT, SAT, and startup testing and operator training.
