Axon is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the electrical design and validation of complex, highly integrated hardware for mission-critical devices. You will lead from system architecture to mass production, collaborating with RF, Mechanical, Firmware, and Manufacturing teams.

You will design high-density, mixed-signal electronics, drive PCB layout, and ensure robust signal/power integrity while addressing thermal, EMI/EMC, and form-factor challenges. Hybrid work locations available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical and circuit board design experience.
• Experience from architecture to mass production of complex electronics.
• Designs high-density, mixed-signal PCBs with power delivery and battery charging.
• Expertise in high-speed interfaces and EMI/EMC considerations.
• Experience partnering with CM/ODM/JDM suppliers across locations.

Responsabilités

• Own detailed mixed-signal schematic design across processors, memory, and power management.
• Drive high-density PCB designs from architecture through layout and release.
• Ensure signal and power integrity across high-speed interfaces and analog circuits.
• Lead component selection, power-tree design, and battery/charging architecture.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Industrial Design for board form factor and thermal performance.
• Lead bring-up and debugging using test equipment; perform root-cause analysis.
• Ensure electrical readiness through SP/EVT/DVT/PVT and mass production steps.
• Provide technical leadership and design reviews to engineers and partners.
