Job summary

Woolpert seeks an Electrical Engineer to join its Buildings MEP team in a hybrid/remote role based in Florida. You will perform electrical design, analysis, and review for complex projects, mentoring staff and ensuring safety and sustainability.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of experience and hands-on experience with Revit, SKM, and AGI/Elumtools. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Registered PE license is required.
• Minimum 7 years related experience.
• Experience with building power systems and lighting design.
• Experience designing in Revit and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering work on complex projects.
• Develop models, plans, and drawings for electrical systems.
• Design medium-voltage distribution, microgrids, PV, battery systems, and lighting.
• Provide technical direction and quality deliverables.
• Coordinate design documents across disciplines.
• Mentor staff and lead project teams.
