Job summary

Woolpert seeks an Electrical Engineer to join our Buildings MEP team with hybrid/remote options from Coral Gables, FL or Orlando, FL. The role reports to the Electrical Engineering Team Leader and focuses on safe, sustainable, code-compliant electrical design across complex projects.

Mandatory PE licensure with 7+ years of experience; familiarity with SKM/Elumtools/AGI is a plus. Collaborative, growth-minded candidates who can mentor others are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
• 7+ years of related experience preferred.
• PE license and professional registration strongly preferred.
• Experience with building power systems and design software.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering work on complex projects.
• Develop and modify models, plans, and drawings per standards.
• Design for medium-voltage distribution, microgrids, PV, and battery systems.
• Perform technical reviews and deliver high-quality results.
• Conduct SKM, arc flash, and photometric calculations.
