Woolpert, Inc. in Coral Gables, FL is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Buildings MEP team. Hybrid or in-person arrangements are available.

The role covers electrical design for power systems, lighting, medium-voltage distribution, and renewable integrations. You will mentor staff, perform analyses, coordinate with disciplines, and help develop standard practices. A Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and EIT are required; strong communication and willingness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in electrical engineering.
• EIT certification is required or expected.
• Experience with building power systems, lighting, and medium-voltage distribution.
• Proficiency with SKM analysis and photometric calculations (AGI or Elumtools preferred).
• Strong reading, interpretation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering work on complex projects.
• Develop and modify models, plans, and drawings of electrical systems.
• Design electrical systems including power, lighting, MV distribution, and renewables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary work and review technical deliverables.
• Provide technical direction across multiple projects of substantial scope.
• Mentor junior staff and develop standard practices.
