Job summary

Woolpert, a global leader in architecture, engineering, and geospatial services, seeks an Electrical Engineer for our Buildings MEP team in Coral Gables, FL. Hybrid or in-person work arrangements apply, reporting to the Electrical Engineering Team Leader.

You will perform electrical design for building power systems, lighting, and medium-voltage distribution, with SKM/Elumtools analysis and mentoring responsibilities. Strong Revit skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience.
• EIT Certification required.
• Experience with building power systems, lighting design, and medium-voltage distribution.
• Familiarity with LEED or other sustainability credentialing is a plus.
• Substantial experience using Autodesk Revit for 3‑D modeling and construction documents.
• Experience QA/QC and coordinating designs across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering work for complex projects.
• Develop and modify models, plans, and drawings of electrical systems.
• Design electrical systems including medium-voltage distribution, microgrids, PV, battery systems, and lighting.
• Provide technical direction and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct SKM analysis, arc flash, and photometric calculations (AGI/Elumtools).
• Coordinate assignments and mentor team members.
