Job summary

Woolpert is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in the United States with flexible in-person, hybrid, or remote work options. You will lead complex electrical projects, guide design teams, and ensure safe, compliant building electrical systems while mentoring staff and driving technical excellence.

The role requires extensive experience, PE licensure, and hands-on expertise with MV distribution, solar, and building systems.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of related electrical engineering experience.
• PE certification required.
• Experience leading complex building electrical systems projects including MV distribution and design.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering work on complex projects from initiation to completion.
• Oversee scope, schedule, and fee; ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance on designs, plans, and drawings according to standards.
• Mentor staff and foster career development within the team.
• Present at conferences and client meetings to showcase Woolpert services.
• Coordinate QA/QC and design document reviews across disciplines.
