Job summary

Coffman Engineers Inc. in the DC Metro area seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer with at least 10 years of experience to lead electrical design and project management on diverse projects.

You will work with business development and discipline leads to develop technical proposals and mentor a multidisciplinary office. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, leadership, and client relation skills, familiarity with NEC/IEEE/NESC, and experience using AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (B.S) in Electrical engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering (required)
Minimum of 10 years of experience.
Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

Design electrical systems for multiple concurrent projects.
Lead design team efforts and manage budget/schedule.
Interpret technical drawings and provide solutions.
Develop fee and qualification-based proposals.
Coordinate with clients and other discipline leads.
