Job summary

Coffman Engineers is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our Woodland Hills team. You will design electrical systems, perform load calculations, and coordinate with multiple disciplines on diverse projects in a collaborative, professional setting.

The role offers hybrid work, a competitive base salary, overtime, and a discretionary bonus. CA Title-24 knowledge and a PE license are preferred; proficiency with AutoCAD/REVIT and OSHPD/HCAi is valued.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Power engineering or related field.
• PE license in Electrical Engineering (licensed for at least 3 years).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design.
• Experience with AutoCAD/REVIT.
• Experience with OSHPD/HCAi.
• Knowledge of Title-24 Part 6 California Energy Conservation Code.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction documents including drawings, power system studies and specifications.
• Design and supervise execution of electrical designs (LV AC/DC, layouts).
• Oversee lighting design and ensure compliance with IESNA.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and consulting teams.
• Lead QA/QC through design and construction phases.
• Attend site visits and client meetings.
