Job summary

Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to plan and guide the transmission system. The role involves leading complex power grid simulations, developing long-term expansion plans, and serving as a lead technical expert to address regional grid challenges.

The ideal candidate will meet ABET-accredited engineering degree requirements and possess professional licensure or FE exam credentials, with substantial experience at GS-12 level or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
• Professional registration/licensure or FE exam requirement demonstrated by one of the listed options.
• At least 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-12: leading power grid simulations, long-term grid expansion planning, and serving as lead technical expert/advisor.
