Job summary

Quanta Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and deliver electrical systems for energy, petrochemical, and industrial facilities. The Senior Electrical Engineer develops concepts, performs analyses, and ensures compliance across the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, review technical documents, and support project execution from design through field validation. Texas-based role with strong emphasis on safety and constructibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in midstream energy, petrochemical, or industrial facilities.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, preferably in Texas.
• Advanced ETAP/SKM experience for analyses.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole or equivalents.
• Familiar with NFPA 70, NESC, IEEE, NEMA, IES, UL, API RP 500, AGA XL101, and Title 49 CFR Parts 190–199.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering & design activities including one-line diagrams and motor control schematics.
• Size and specify electrical power distribution, control equipment, and protection systems.
• Review process and mechanical documents to align with electrical design requirements.
• QA/QC reviews of drawings, calculations, and technical documents.
• Coordinate deliverables with multidisciplinary teams and vendors.
• Support field site assessments, RFIs, and development of electrical design basis docs.
