Job summary

Quanta Services, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Project Engineer to join its Houston team. The role combines hands-on mechanical and piping engineering with project leadership, supporting concepts through construction and startup in energy facilities.

The candidate will develop design deliverables, coordinate procurement, and act as the primary technical contact across disciplines and with clients. 5+ years of relevant experience and AutoCAD proficiency are required; P.E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with AutoCAD and MS Office.
• P.E. license in Texas preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical and piping design deliverables for energy facilities.
• Define scope, schedule, and budget; coordinate procurement and vendor activities.
• Serve as project engineer and primary technical contact for client.
• Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure code-compliant designs.
• Provide engineering support during construction, commissioning, and startup.
