Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a senior Electrical Professional Engineer III to lead design, coordination, and delivery of complex electrical systems for energy and infrastructure projects at hospital and college campuses.

You will mentor junior engineers, oversee design quality, support permitting and procurement, and ensure performance, reliability, and energy efficiency within ENFRA’s design-build model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical power and building systems.
• Experience with system coordination, protection, and controls integration.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary designs.

Responsibilities

• Signing and sealing engineering documents and ensuring quality standards.
• Lead and review designs for solar, battery energy storage, fuel cell, and CHP with guidance from senior engineers.
• Perform and review calculations for utility interconnects, arc flash, short-circuit, and breaker coordination studies.
• Manage electrical scope including schedule, budget, and deliverables.
• Supervise planning for field investigations and site visits; review 3D laser scanning plans.
