Qualifications

• BS in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering with 20+ years of experience.
• ECAD experience for schematic capture and layout, preferably Altium Designer.
• Experience designing for EMI/EMC and DO-160, Boeing, and Airbus standards.
• Experience generating qualification test procedures and diagrams for EMC testing.
• Grounding techniques for board and system level design.
• Troubleshooting EMI/EMC failures and documenting deviations.
• RF design principles on RF/high-speed digital signals.
• Software skills: C/C++, Python, Linux, Bash; Arduino, Raspberry Pi for troubleshooting.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
• On-site role in Lake Zurich, travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCBA level design including BOM management and configuration control.
• Design multilayer PCBs with high-speed and RF capabilities.
• Develop electrical system architectures and support manufacturing transfer.
• Mentor engineers and interns; direct Ukraine engineers as needed.
• Support regulatory compliance testing and ISO processes.
• Lead cross-functional programs and manage multiple projects.
