Job summary

Cushing Terrell seeks an Electrical Engineer or Designer to develop energy efficient, sustainable, and reliable engineering system concepts for diverse projects. You will collaborate with Project Managers to analyze existing systems and craft solutions aligned with client budgets and schedules.

The role includes leading client consultations, preparing design information, and directing field investigations or supervisory activities while contributing to business growth and technical excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 15 years of related experience.
Professional Engineering License preferred.
Proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, SKM, and AGI software.

Responsibilities

Lead project interviews for specific projects and develop fee proposals; negotiate contracts.
Assist in business development and identify market opportunities; participate in project interviews.
Act as Engineer-in-responsible-charge, review, stamp and sign Construction Documents.
Schedule project workloads and represent Cushing Terrell in meetings; support strategy sessions.
Check drawings and provide feedback to the project team.
Direct activities of workers and consultants on drawings and specification documents.
Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company and maintain client relations.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and ongoing education to team members.
