Job summary

CEG Solutions LLC in Arlington, TX, seeks a Senior Electrical Energy Engineer to lead electrical design for large-scale, life-cycle-cost projects across the built environment, including renewables, storage, microgrids, and central plant renovations.

You will anchor a multidisciplinary team through concept, design and construction, applying NEC knowledge and energy efficiency focus to hospitals, data centers and mission-critical facilities while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• PE license strongly preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• 5–10 years of experience in electrical engineering and energy systems.
• Strong understanding of NEC and building codes.
• Experience with energy efficiency design engineering and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver electrical solutions for major infrastructure, including MEP modernization, central plant upgrades, on-site energy generation, energy efficiency initiatives, and resiliency improvements.
• Oversee third‑party consultants to achieve high-quality construction documents; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor and develop engineers and designers on design principles, technical skills, and project execution.
