Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a highly motivated Sr Electrical Engineer to drive Value Driven Design and MBSE workflows across complex DoD portfolios. You will bridge architecture, lifecycle modeling, and cross-functional execution to deliver robust, compliant solutions.

You will lead specialty engineering areas such as Nuclear Hardness, EMI/EMC, and System Safety while aligning with program schedules, regulatory requirements, and CAM/EVM processes.

Qualifications

• Experience owning end-to-end systems engineering (requirements, architecture, interfaces, integration, verification, validation) on large or complex projects.
• Familiarity with MBSE concepts and tools.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams and resolve complex technical issues.
• Active DoD Top Secret or TS/SCI preferred; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsabilités

• Lead integration across specialty engineering disciplines to ensure robust, compliant solutions.
• Support program schedules, milestones, and deliverables while mitigating risks to performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize system lifecycle performance and address technical challenges.
• Provide expertise in Nuclear Hardness, System Safety, EMI/EMC, and Human Systems Engineering.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company processes.
• Partner with systems engineering to translate military standards into hardware requirements; support CAMs with technical write-ups, WBS, and EVM schedule estimates.
• Act as a certified test conductor or lead verification engineer for system-level test plans and environmental testing.
