Job summary

Futura is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical engineering for gigawatt-scale data centers. The role is remote-based with travel to active sites for field support and energization milestones.

You will review electrical packages, respond to RFIs, and ensure energization readiness across multiple sites on a fast-paced timeline. The ideal candidate has data center or industrial power experience, can read one-lines and schedules fluently, and is willing to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering experience in data center or industrial distribution.
• Fluent reading of one-lines, panel schedules, and studies.
• Experience supporting field electrical work and energization sequences.
• Rigor on pre-energization paperwork.
• Willingness to travel to active sites.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical engineering for assigned sites: review, field support, energization readiness.
• Review electrical packages against the reference design - one-lines, schedules, and studies.
• Answer field RFIs in hours and drive recurring issues into the standard.
• Support energization: torque records, insulation test results, and checklists verified before power closes.
