SSOE is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Centers to lead electrical design for cutting-edge data center projects. The role focuses on power distribution, backup systems, and the integration of high-availability architectures in data center facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited program is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required with ability to register in additional states.
• At least 12 years of experience in electrical engineering facilities design, including data center facilities.
• Experience with DC distribution systems (400VDC/800VDC/1500VDC) and NEC/IEC standards.
• Knowledge of electrical design, power distribution, and backup power systems; Revit experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as Electrical SME on data center projects, crafting design solutions and technical specifications.
• Provide expert advisory services in meetings, representing the firm and aligning project strategies.
• Lead planning, development, and coordination of medium to large engineering projects; ensure technical quality.
• Mentor less experienced staff and guide project teams.
• Travel required to project sites and client meetings.
