Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for Data Centers to shape the future of data centers and AI facilities. You will collaborate with in-house engineering and architecture teams to ensure projects meet industry standards from scope development through commissioning.

The role offers a hybrid or fully remote schedule, a competitive salary of $130k–$170k per year (depending on location, education, experience, and certifications), and eligibility for an annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited program is required.
• PE license with the ability to become registered in additional states is required.
• At least 12 years of experience in electrical engineering facilities design, with data center experience.
• Experience with DC distribution systems at 400VDC/800VDC/1500VDC is required.
• Strong leadership and client-relations skills; familiarity with NEC/IEC standards and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Act as Electrical SME on data center projects and craft innovative design solutions.
• Engage with clients in meetings and conferences representing the firm.
• Lead planning and coordination of medium to large engineering projects or portfolios.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and coaching to less experienced staff.
• Travel required.
