General Motors is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to establish electrical requirements, interpret codes, and support project teams across multiple delivery models. You will promote code compliance, reliability, and safety while coordinating with stakeholders including project leaders, utilities, safety, and procurement.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of power systems, and experience with front-end planning, design development, and commissioning for large facilities.

Qualifikationen

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field and seven+ years in electrical engineering or related capital projects.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Aufgaben

• Lead as GM electrical engineering SME for planning, design, construction, and facility operations on major capital projects.
• Provide independent owner-side technical challenge to verify safety, code compliance, reliability, and constructability.
• Engage early in planning studies to identify electrical scope, risks, interfaces, and budget implications.
• Develop and maintain electrical design requirements, standards, and governance documents.
