Job summary

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of post-education electrical design for capital projects.
• Proficient in design, permitting, and project-related issues.
• Extensive infrastructure design knowledge.
• Proficient with Revit.
• Experience in electrical planning, design, and construction management.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and QA/QC practices.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors safely.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical design for complex projects in power distribution, lighting and control systems.
• Lead design reviews, calculations, and one-line diagrams.
• Coordinate with owners, sub-consultants, and clients for plans and specs.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations of findings and recommendations.
• Manage project budgets, hours, and materials/labor quantities.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and ethical handling of company funds.
• Mentor junior team members and enforce safety policies.
• Stay current with latest electrical engineering practices.
