Job summary

Woolpert, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Buildings MEP team. The role supports hybrid or remote work with offices in Coral Gables, Orlando, or other regional locations.

You will design, analyze, and review electrical systems to ensure safety, sustainability, and compliance with industry standards. Candidate must have a PE license, 7+ years of related experience, and expertise in medium-voltage distribution, PV/battery systems, and SKM/photometric calculations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 7 years related experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Experience with building power systems, lighting design, medium-voltage distribution, SKM analysis, and photometric calculations (AGI or Elumtools preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering work on complex projects.
• Develop/modify models, plans, drawings for electrical systems.
• Design for medium-voltage distribution, microgrids, PV, batteries, building power, lighting, low voltage.
• Coordinate QA/QC and document coordination between disciplines.
• Mentor staff and provide technical direction on multiple projects.
