Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services team in Charlotte or Raleigh. In this role you will coordinate the work of Electrical Engineers within a multidiscipline team, establish client relations, participate in design and production meetings, and lead electrical efforts on many projects.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis, 10+ years’ experience in building

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the work of Electrical Engineers with a multidisciplinary project team.
• Establish client relations and participate in design and production meetings.
• Lead electrical efforts on multiple projects and ensure code compliance.
• Mentor and direct activities of other electrical staff as needed.
