RTX seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for the Computing Products Department in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will design circuit cards for avionics computers, troubleshoot hardware, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across Systems, Software, Mechanical, and Manufacturing.

The role requires hands-on testing, qualification work, and guiding junior engineers. In this onsite role, you will support the DPC‑2120 A2G program and related GGM products, with design-to-cost and manufacturability

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on electrical engineering troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with hardware requirements development and lab testing.

Responsibilities

• Design circuit cards for avionics computers.
• Attend review or planning meetings to collaborate with engineers.
• Troubleshoot circuit cards or whole computers in a lab environment.
• Design test solutions to prove design is compliant.
• Perform qualification testing and root-cause analysis of failures.
• Mentor less experienced engineers on the DPC product line.
• <10% travel as needed.
