Job summary

RTX in Cedar Rapids, IA, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and maintain computer hardware for avionics systems. On-site role requiring expertise in digital/analog circuit design, schematic capture, and test with scopes and analyzers.

You will guide PCB layout and contribute to validation and improvements in development processes. Qualifications include a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years, and proficiency with lab equipment.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• US Person due to ITAR restrictions.
• 3+ years designing/analyzing analog and digital circuits with schematic tools.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage obsolete parts on assigned products.
• Design and analyze digital/analog circuits and report performance.
• Characterize signals with test equipment like oscilloscopes and analyzers.
• Guide PCB layout and perform hands-on troubleshooting in lab.
• Support verification to ensure design specifications are met.
