RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, invites new grads for an Electrical Engineer 1 role in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will design and debug digital hardware for avionics, collaborating across Systems, Software, Mechanical, and Manufacturing.

The position focuses on digital logic, ASIC/FPGA/CPLD designs, processors, and memory technologies, with opportunities to learn through Collins Aerospace resources. On-site work in Cedar Rapids.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM obtained by start date.

Responsibilities

• Design, verify, document, and troubleshoot digital hardware for avionics.
• Collaborate with Systems, Software, Mechanical, Environmental Effects Engineering, Manufacturing and DTC staff to ensure requirements are met.
• Work on designs using digital logic (ASIC/FPGA/CPLD), processors and memory technologies.
• Provide support for current production issues when needed.
