Qualifications

• Active DoW Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from ABET accredited program with 12+ years DoD/government experience.
• OR Master’s degree with 10+ years DoD/government experience.
• Minimum of 3 years SAP experience within last 8 years.
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

• Perform R&D, testing, and maintenance of electrical/electronic systems on aeronautical platforms.
• Serve as technical expert and advise leadership on sustaining engineering.
• Develop and review system electrical architecture and interoperability requirements.
• Translate user requirements into system requirements for hardware and software.
• Provide integration support for acquisition, development, and verification of systems.
• Evaluate test plans and participate in system, subsystem, and component testing.
• Support USAF engineering processes and depot/field engineering.
• Assist root cause analyses and follow USAF eight-step process.
• Read and generate changes to electrical/electronic and mechanical drawings.
• Interpret CAD software for electrical/mechanical systems and model-based design.
• Develop technical papers/presentations for program team.
• Support development/review of program documentation and conduct evaluations of contractor proposals.
• Perform technical risk assessments and mitigation planning.
