Marotta Controls is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join its Parsippany, NJ team. The role focuses on electronic system circuit design, analysis, fabrication management, testing, and maturing hardware for aerospace and military applications.

Responsibilities include designing analog, power, control, and digital circuits, ensuring EMI and reliability targets, and mentoring junior engineers in a collaborative lab and office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience designing electrical circuits in aerospace.
• New Product Development experience in aerospace/military industry.
• Strong documentation and writing skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsabilités

• Develop an understanding of customer requirements and translate them into designs.
• Select architectures meeting performance, EMI, reliability and cost targets.
• Design and analyze electronic control units to meet requirements.
• Balance cost, technical risk and schedule across projects.
• Interface with project teams and customers.
• Create and review specifications and technical reports.
• Perform breadboard level tests on new development products.
• Mentor junior electrical engineers.
