Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems within our manufacturing operations. This full-time role requires strong technical expertise and hands-on leadership in ensuring electrical reliability, compliance, and efficiency across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems and controls for manufacturing and utility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and automation issues affecting plant operations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety codes and regulations (e.g., NEC, OSHA).
• Lead electrical aspects of capital projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and validation of electrical and automation systems.
• Maintain accurate electrical schematics and support preventative maintenance strategies.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to enhance system reliability.
• Drive energy management initiatives and implement power efficiency solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; PE license is a plus.
• 7–10+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Expertise in PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, SCADA, and industrial automation systems.
• Proficiency with electrical design tools such as AutoCAD or EPLAN.
• Strong understanding of power distribution, electrical safety, and control systems.
• Proven problem-solving and project management abilities.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and predictive maintenance technologies is a plus.
