IDEAL CANDIDATE

Someone with the following skills/background:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, e.g., science, mechanical, or chemical engineering.

Industrial electrical background with at least 4 years of manufacturing experience, trade experience is a plus.

Continuous Improvement training or certification (Lean Six Sigma yellow, green, or black belt).

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and knowledge of SAP system. Experience with Capital Projects is desirable.

Proactive, technically competent individual who can work independently, solve problems, and contribute to team operations.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will provide technical support, ensure electrical engineering standards, and participate in complex activities to improve production quality, efficiency, and capacity.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and monitor electrical engineering standards, policies, procedures, and job aids; serve as the electrical technical authority.
• Support cross-functional teams in selecting and implementing tools and methodologies.
• Deliver direct services and support to the organization.
• Lead planning and implementation of electrical standards in capital projects.
• Develop and oversee strategies for electrical engineering vision and direction.
• Identify gaps in electrical applications and establish auditing controls.
• Recommend and implement performance improvement solutions while managing risk.
• Handle complex issues independently, escalating only the most challenging cases.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least four years of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Experience in project management and process safety management.
• Ten years of related work experience.
• Background in industries such as corn milling, oil and gas, petroleum, or mining.
