Job summary

Rogers Electric seeks an experienced Electrical Energy Marshal to oversee energization of electrical systems across construction phases, ensuring strict safety adherence and coordination with field teams. You will enforce LOTO, manage schedules, and verify inspections, while collaborating with Safety and Quality to meet QA/QC standards.

Qualifications

• NFPA 70E Certification (Electrical Safety in the Workplace).
• 10+ years of experience in electrical construction, commissioning, or facilities operations.
• Expert knowledge of LOTO procedures, temporary power, and electrical safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams and construction drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Comfortable leading field teams and conducting safety training.
• Familiarity with commissioning software and project management tools (Procore preferred).
• Proficiency with MS Office, Excel and basic computer skills.
• Flexibility to travel and work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee controlled, phased energization of all electrical systems.
• Coordinate energization activities across construction, commissioning, and operations teams.
• Enforce LOTO procedures and safety standards on site.
• Maintain master energization schedule and ensure readiness.
• Lead daily energization coordination meetings with contractors and stakeholders.
• Inspect and test panels, switchgear, and systems prior to energization.
• Supervise installation and maintenance of temporary power systems.
• Review and ensure compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA, and site standards.
• Document energization activities for audits and turnover.
• Collaborate with Safety and Quality teams to uphold QA/QC standards.
