Job summary

McGough seeks an Energy Marshal to lead safe energization activities within mission-critical data center environments. You will govern hazardous energy control and ensure energization, isolation, and restoration follow NFPA 70E and best practices.

You will coordinate with construction teams, commissioning agents, and facilities to manage energy boundaries, review permits, and maintain detailed energy control plans. regional travel and office work are expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction management, power distribution installation, energy isolation, and electrical safety.
• NFPA 70E Certification or CESCP.
• Experience managing energization and LOTO programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enforce LOTO programs across medium- and low-voltage systems.
• Define and manage energy isolation boundaries.
• Verify zero-energy states before maintenance or construction activities.
• Review energized work permits per NFPA 70E and policy.
• Establish arc flash boundaries and PPE requirements.
• Audit LOTO logs and subcontractor compliance.
