Job summary

Nox Group in the United States is seeking an experienced Energy Marshal to oversee and implement LOTO policies on construction projects. You will ensure energization activities are conducted safely and coordinate handoffs from construction to commissioning or Client/Owner.

The role requires at least five years in electrical construction, a Journeyman license or equivalent, and NFPA 70E/OSHA 30 training. Strong communication and collaboration with GC safety, Owner safety, and operations teams are

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of electrical construction experience.
• Licensed Journeyman or equivalent.
• Experience with LOTO.
• Understanding of one-line diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to review equipment submittals.
• NFPA 70E trained.
• OSHA 30.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Energization Status and LOTO programs.
• Coordinate energization events: temporary power, first-time energization.
• Lead or oversee energization meetings/SIMOPS.
• Ensure proper signage, barricades, and safe work practices around live systems.
• Coordinate equipment ready for energization.
• Act as liaison between construction, commissioning, operations, and safety teams.
• Maintain a master energization tracker.
• Approve or stop activities involving live systems if unsafe.
• Work with GC safety and Owner safety teams.
• Review CMOP/FTE procedures to identify LOTO points.
• Review LOTO requests for scope alignment.
• Perform regular LOTO audits with Project Safety Superintendent.
