Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer for an onsite role in Tewksbury/Andover, MA with 8+ years of experience. You will join the Test Solutions team designing interface test adapters, test stations, and harnesses while integrating instrumentation in factory and military environments.

You will participate in all lifecycle phases, lead troubleshooting, and ensure design maturity. The role emphasizes multidisciplinary collaboration, hands-on testing, and compliance with security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience in electrical engineering including troubleshooting, analysis, and testing.
• Experience with electrical design and interpreting schematics using tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, or Creo Schematic.
• Experience with COTS test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, power meters).

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and integration of Raytheon test equipment capabilities in multidisciplinary teams.
• Design production test stations, ITAs, and harnesses.
• Create technical drawings, schematics, and circuit designs and analyses.
