Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an Electronics Test Technician for an onsite role in Andover, MA. The position involves moderately complex testing, troubleshooting, and acceptance of production and development systems, with emphasis on infrared devices and circuitry.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain interim clearance, and the candidate must be able to pass a technical interview. Shift: 2:30pm–11:00pm, second shift, onsite.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 1-2 years of specialized electronics education OR minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics test and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Works with engineering personnel with normal levels of support and supervision.
• Reads prints, sketches, schematics, specifications and process sheets.
• Uses test and measurement equipment and supports multiple setups.
• Isolates failures in the unit under test and test equipment to the faulty component.
• Performs inspection and maintenance of test equipment and keeps records.
