Rosendin Electric, Inc. seeks a Designer III to lead the development of lighting and power layouts for complex projects. You will provide calculations and drawings, coordinating with the project team to ensure design intent and code compliance.

The role requires 5+ years of design experience, strong knowledge of NFPA/local codes, and proficiency in REVIT. Join a large, employee-owned contractor delivering high-profile electrical projects with robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Some college or technical training in engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Designer.
• Ability to obtain certification in energy, lighting, sustainability, commissioning, signal, grounding, etc.
• Combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Mark up branch circuit lighting and power plans with moderate supervision.
• Perform Energy Code calculations and document local requirements.
• Lead lighting design and controls using owner requirements and RFP information.
• Coordinate with architects and other trades to complete drawings.
• Attend project design team meetings.
• Independently layout Electrical Room and create installation details.
