Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a Designer III to lead lighting and power design on high-profile electrical projects. You will perform energy code calculations, develop detailed drawings, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to capture intent and ensure compliance.

With a minimum of five years in design and strong REVIT and illuminance tool proficiency, you will guide junior designers, manage scope, and participate in project design meetings.

Qualifications

• Some college or technical training in engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Designer.
• Ability to obtain certification in energy, lighting, sustainability, commissioning, signal, grounding.
• Combination of education, training and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead lighting design and coordinate with architectural and mechanical teams.
• Perform energy code calculations and document local requirements.
• Layout electrical rooms and distribute power with Rosendin standards.
• Develop design drawings, schedules and details for construction.
• Coordinate with project managers and clients to meet budget and schedule.
• Mentor other designers and ensure accuracy of included drawings.
